N1GY- The simple Approach to Ham Radio
and My Model Railroad Hobby
This is the latest look at the latest and final display of locomotives. An acrylic panel has been installed to keep the locomotives from hitting the floor if the display is accidentally bumped by me. there are two empty slots that await the arrival of locos numbers 181 and 182. At that point I will be done with my collecting. I swear. I have absolutely no room to put any more.
There have been a few changes to my collection since I last updated this web site..I have moved the rack of large locomotives back to my office, (it's original location) freeing up the tea cart between the kitchen and the train room for a new display rack which my son in law Gabe and I built a few days ago. The rack has been painted with a light beige color which shows off the locomotives on it well.See the picture below. I have begun to fill the new disaplay rack with a few new items as well as the items that previously resided on the tea cart itself.
This is the end of the display rack nearest the kitchen. The other end will be getting a sign for the Florida East Coast Railroad otherwise known as the Flagler Route. Gradually, more locomotives will be added to the display as funds and time permit.
